3. Why is the show in July?
July is the perfect time to fill your holiday inventory needs as well as fill-in summer stock. As this is the first merchandise show servicing Holiday buying, get an early jump on quality closeouts and opportunity buys.
4. Why is the show going to be in Rosemont (Chicago)?
The Midwest is in the heart of the third largest concentration of independent specialty retailers. It’s strategic geographic location provides access to eight major cities within a 500 mile radius.
In tandem with securing the best rates, the overall cost of doing business in Rosemont (Chicago) is one of the lowest in the United States. Located just five minutes from O’Hare International Airport, a quick cab ride (under $10) is easily available.
5. What documentation will I need to register?
A printed business card and business license/tax resellers certificate or one other form of proof of company I.D. Your badge will be sent to you prior to the show.
6. What type of parking options do I have?
The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center has a 5000 space parking garage located just steps from the Convention Center, at a charge of $13.00 per day. Plus, if you are staying at the hotels that are directly across the street from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, most have parking lots that you can park in as well.
7. Is mass transportation available?
The Chicago L Train Blue Line Stop for Rosemont is conveniently located just under 1/4 mile from the Convention Center. It’s within walking distance and cabs are always available.
